BEWARE: This operation initiates actions which should be considered irrevocable.

The following would occur if you ran:

"10" "Year End run-down"

and selected "M" for "Monthly Payroll" after running down M12 2004 (ie., March 2004).
- Creates a "yearend.2004M" file which is in csv( comma seperated values ) format. This contains the information
required to complete year end Inland Revenue Forms .
- Creates a "p11data.2004M.tar.gz" file which contains the years p11 details including those specific to Directors.
- Creates a "reports.2004M.tar.gz" file which contains the years p11ni & tax reports,nominal analysis per month,remittance listings and payslips.
- Deletes all those individual files that have been archived in the previous 2 steps.
- Removes "Leavers" from the payroll database.
- Removes "Starter","Starter Cum Pay" & "Starter Cum Tax" fields for that years' starters.
- Resigned Directors have their "R" removed from the "Director" field and will be treated as non-Directors for NI purposes in the new
financial year.
- Directors that started during the year will have the Dir Field 1 changed to "1" and the Dir Field 2 changed to P.
Beware: This may not be
appropriate and may need to be changed manually to N depending on whether they elect for (P)ro Rata status or indeed if they are entitled
to it.
- The financial year is advanced so that new tax and ni rates are used.
The following screen will appear if , for eg., the last month of the year had not been run-down:
